It is still cold on May 1st, and it is estimated that the wind is quite strong. Ideally, it is best to spend the summer. If you want to go out to play in the wild, it's colder in the evening and at night. Once in mid-July, I planned to set up a tent on the grassland for the night, but I didn't sleep well because of the cold at night.

However, it is estimated that there will be no holidays in summer. My suggestion is to bring more long-sleeved clothes, even in the city, it is quite cold at night, and you can wear less during the day when the weather is good. Wearing short sleeves at night will definitely feel cold.

Compared with the grassland in Inner Mongolia, the grassland in Mongolia grows sparsely, but it is generally not destroyed and desertified except the Gobi in the south. Sandstorms during May Day should be slightly better than those in Xi, Beijing and other places in the same period. This is purely personal speculation. I haven't been there during May Day.
