The water supply was stopped because the "Keshui" high-voltage line that delivered electricity to Wang Jiayu Waterworks was accidentally struck by lightning, which led to the power failure of Wang Jiayu Waterworks, and the users in Tiedong District and Gaoxin East District, which were responsible for Tiedong pipe network, could not use water normally. At the same time, lightning struck the Liaoyang power supply line of Anshan water source, which led to power outage and maintenance of the line, and led to water cuts for users above the third floor of Lingshan, Lishan, Tiexi Sandao Street and Liudao Street who used Shoushan water source.

It has been urgently repaired by the power and water supply departments, and water supply has been restored in other areas except for high-grade users in Lishan, Lingshan and Tiexi.
