Climatic characteristics of Mudanjiang.

Mudanjiang City borders the Sea of Japan in the southeast, with a distance of 1000km. Influenced by the huge thermal difference between land and sea, the maritime (semi-humid) mid-temperate monsoon climate characteristics are formed. In summer, the wind blows from the ocean to the land, which is warm and rainy. In winter, the wind blows from the mainland to the sea, which is cold and dry. Mudanjiang is located in the basin, surrounded by mountains, with four distinct seasons. The western mountainous areas blocked the invasion of sandstorms and protected Mudanjiang area from sandstorms.
