The Origin of Langya Mountain in Chuzhou

Before the Jin and Yuan emperors ascended the throne, they sealed King Langya and lived here, so this mountain was named after him.

Langya Mountain is famous for Ouyang Xiu's Drunk Pavilion. "The meaning of drunkenness is not in wine, but also between mountains and rivers."

Langya Mountain enjoys the reputation of "There is no other mountain after Penglai" and "Pearl of East Anhui". Because it is rich in a variety of Chinese herbal medicines, it is known as the "natural medicine garden". There are Zuiweng Pavilion, Langya Pavilion, Chengxi Lake, Gushan Lake and Hugu.

Langya Mountain is famous for its beautiful mountains and rivers, as well as its historical masterpieces, such as Zuiweng Pavilion, Langya Temple and Zuiweng Pavilion. Langya Temple was founded in the sixth year of Tang Dynasty (77 1), and it has been more than 1200 years. Zuiweng Pavilion, built in the sixth year of Song Dynasty (1046), has a history of more than 900 years.

During the Republic of China and after the founding of the People's Republic of China, Langya Mountain has always been a scenic spot that poets and writers yearn for. 1April, 936, Professor Fang Lingru, a famous female writer, visited Langya Mountain with Ding Ling, a female writer, and Xu Beihong, a painter, and wrote a new essay, Travel Notes of Langya Mountain. Later, the poet Chen Yunhe wrote the essay Chuzhou. Drunken man Lu Ling Ouyang Xiu Ye ".

19851in late October, China Prose Society and Anhui Branch of Chinese Writers Association jointly held Zuiwengting Prose Festival in Langya Mountain.
