How to catch crucian carp in hot weather

When fishing for crucian carp in the sultry weather of summer, due to the low air pressure, there is a serious lack of oxygen in the water. Fish, especially crucian carp, do not swim or forage at the bottom of the water, but float in the upper and middle layers of the water. Under normal circumstances, crucian carp still wants to eat, but it must use the trolling method.

What is trolling? It means that the fisherman holds a 5.4-meter or 6.3-meter-long hand rod or handcart rod and slowly drags the fish from left to right, or from right to left, or from front to back. Straighten the line to prevent the bait hook from floating in the water or falling to the bottom. It is best to use 3 tablets of star bleach. When pulling, all three floats float on the water and move forward. If crucian carp floats in the middle layer of the water area, there is no need to adjust the float, because when the fishing line is dragged, the bait hook is right in the middle layer of the water area. When the bait hook moves past, the bait becomes "live bait", arousing the fish's appetite and inducing the fish to eat the hook. When crucian carp eats the hook, firstly, it depends on the feel of the hand, and the trembling sensation is obvious; secondly, it depends on observing the float with two eyes. When the last float trembles and sinks, it is the crucian carp that is eating the hook. However, do not lift the rod at this time, but stop pulling the fishing line. When the bait hook slowly sinks, the crucian carp will swallow the bait into its mouth. At this time, if you lift the rod, you will be sure to hook the crucian carp. If crucian carp floats in the upper layer of the water area, the float must be adjusted. The method is very simple, just push the 3 grains downwards and the water line will be shorter. The fishing method is the same as before.

Trolling can also be done using bait, preferably fine rice bran. On the eve of fishing, put fine rice bran into a pot, pour some vegetable oil and stir-fry until fragrant, then put it into a plastic bag after cooling. When fishing, add water to moisten the fine rice bran and sprinkle it into the water. After the fine rice bran is put into the water, some float on the water surface and some sink slowly. They can stay in the middle and upper layers of the water for a period of time to lure crucian carp to come "eat".
