The relationship between morning glow, sunset glow and weather

Cloudy or rainy day

Don't work at sunrise, but travel thousands of miles at sunset.

It is said that in the morning or at night, the sunlight is oblique, and the distance through the air layer is relatively long, and the scattering is greatly weakened. In the solar light wave, purple is the most weakened, followed by indigo and blue, and red or orange light is the least weakened. These weakened colored sunlight shines on the sky and clouds, forming bright and dazzling rosy clouds.

In the morning of spring and summer, the low-altitude air is stable and there is little dust. If there is a bright morning glow, it means that there are many water drops and clouds in the eastern low altitude, and the bad weather will gradually approach. This is the reason why the morning glow never dies; At night, due to the sunshine heating in one day, the temperature is high, and there is generally not much water vapor in the low-altitude atmosphere, but due to the weakening of convection, dust may be concentrated in the lower level in large quantities. If there is a bright sunset glow, it is mainly caused by the scattering of sun light by dry particles such as dust, indicating that the weather in the west is relatively dry. According to the law of airflow moving from west to east, the local weather will not get worse in the future, so there is a saying that "the sunset clouds travel along Wan Li Road". Of course, this is just a general rule. You really need to grasp the appearance of God and take the lead in traveling.

Haze is the result of sunlight passing through the thick atmosphere around sunrise and sunset and being scattered by a large number of air molecules. When there are many impurities in the air, such as dust and water vapor, its color is more obvious. If there are clouds, they will also be dyed orange and red.

The bright red glow before and after sunrise shows that there is already a lot of water vapor in the atmosphere, and clouds have invaded this area from the west, indicating that the weather will turn to rain. The appearance of a bright red and golden sunset indicates that the weather in the upper reaches of our western region has cleared up or the clouds have split, and the sunlight can penetrate to cause the sunset glow, indicating that the rain clouds hanging over the local area are about to move eastward and the weather will clear up.
