What's the weather like in the Yangtze River valley? Why is it formed?

There are two typical weathers in the Yangtze River basin, plum rain and summer drought, and the lower reaches are also affected by typhoons.

In normal years, from mid-June to early July, the middle and lower reaches of the Yangtze River are affected by the quasi-static front of Jianghuai, and it rains continuously for about one month, which is the rainy season. After the rainy season, the middle and lower reaches of the Yangtze River are controlled by subtropical high, which will form dry and hot weather with little rain. The formation of these typical weather is related to the seasonal movement of frontal rain belt from south to north in eastern China.
