Wuxi, a prefecture-level city in Jiangsu Province, is one of the central cities in the Yangtze River Delta of China and an important scenic tourist city approved by the State Council.

Wuxi is located in the east of China, the south of Jiangsu Province, and the Yangtze River Delta Plain. It is an important part of the Yangtze River urban agglomeration, with the Yangtze River in the north and Taihu Lake in the south, and is known as the "Pearl of Taihu Lake".
