Some problems in geography in senior high school are to analyze the causes of weather conditions. The options are four maps, two fronts and two cyclones.

Frontal system and cyclone (low pressure) anticyclone (high pressure) are both common weather systems. Both cold and warm fronts and cyclones may bring precipitation, but the characteristics of precipitation are different: the cold front passes through cloudy days, rain and snow, and the wind cools down, like an autumn rain and a cold, "like a strong wind in spring, which comes up at night and blows open the petals of ten thousand pear trees." Warm front crossing the border-continuous precipitation, warming up like a continuous spring rain, rainy in the Qingming period, a spring rain and a warmth. Special cyclones, such as typhoons, can bring storms.

In addition to the different weather changes, it can also be judged according to the latitude or season. For example, cyclones and fronts (polar fronts) are very frequent at 60 degrees north latitude and 60 degrees south latitude. For another example, the rain belt in eastern China at different times is mainly frontal rain.
