What is the poem "I don't know you"?
Gao Shi [Tang Dynasty]
Original text:
Like a bird, she still flapped her wings and felt sorry for herself, leaving Beijing for more than ten years.
A gentleman is poor, who wants to meet today without paying for drinks?
Translation:
Thousands of miles away in Huang Yun, the weather was gloomy, and the north wind sent away the geese, which caused heavy snow.
Don't worry about having no friends ahead. Who in the world doesn't know you?
Poetry appreciation:
"Mochow has no confidant in the road ahead, and the whole world doesn't know you?" These two sentences are encouragement to Dongda University. Saying "Mochow", saying that there is a confidant in the road ahead, and saying that everyone knows the monarch, as a farewell, is enough to cheer people up and cheer their hearts. When the poet is about to break up, he doesn't write countless thoughts of parting at all, but encourages his friends to embark on a journey and meet the future with passion.
In the farewell poems of the Tang Dynasty, those sad and touching works are certainly touching, but another kind of generous and sad poem, from the heart, has strengthened its faith with sincere friendship.
