Julu County is located in the south-central part of Hebei Province and the middle part of Xingtai City, on the alluvial plain of the ancient Yellow River and Zhanghe River. Guangzong County and Nangong in the east, Longyao County and Renxian County in the west, Pingxiang County in the south and Ningjin County and Xinhe County in the north. The county covers an area of 63 1 km2.

Julu is one of the nine counties in Guxing Prefecture, which was originally changed from Han to South.
