Where is Baoshan?

Baoshan is a prefecture-level city under Yunnan Province.

Baoshan is one of the earliest developed areas in Yunnan history. Yongchang County was established in 69 AD, which means "Yongchang". Historically, it was the crossroads of the ancient famous "Southern Silk Road", the main battlefield of the anti-Japanese war in western Yunnan, an important post station for China to Southeast Asia and South Asia, and an important distribution center for China-Myanmar trade.

Baoshan belongs to the subtropical monsoon climate in low latitude mountainous areas. Because it is located in the low latitude plateau, the terrain is complex. The highest altitude in the local area is 3780 meters, and the lowest altitude is 535 meters, forming a three-dimensional climate of "one mountain with four seasons and ten miles of different days". There are seven climate types: north tropical, south subtropical, middle subtropical, north subtropical, south temperate, middle temperate and plateau climate. Its characteristics are: small annual temperature difference, large daily temperature difference, annual average temperature14-17℃; Abundant rainfall, alternating dry and wet, uneven distribution. The annual rainfall is 700-2 100 mm.
