How to aim at a rifle

Rifle aiming method:

First of all, you must know enough about your gun. Different guns have different trajectories and ranges.

Secondly, calculate the wind speed, temperature, wind direction angle, shooting angle, altitude and so on.

Third, the position of the head should be correct. Keep your eyes perpendicular to the mirror and keep a certain distance, otherwise you will see the crescent moon.

Shadow, such as the shadow on the left, the bullet will go to the right, and the shadow on the right will go to the left.

Finally, focus and fire. Focusing will affect the accuracy.

Usually, snipers have to calibrate their mirrors before performing their tasks. Military snipers generally return to zero at a distance of 300 meters, and police snipers generally return to zero at a distance of 100 meters, that is, adjust the sight at a distance of 300 meters or 100 meters to make the center of the cross coincide with the impact point.

The target may not be at this distance and the trajectory is not straight when the mission can be performed. If the parabola falls slightly under the influence of gravity, the impact point will deviate from the center of the cross. Therefore, the sight must be revised again on the basis of the original zero point, so that the landing point of the center of the cross coincides with the actual shooting distance. You can aim directly at the center, or you can estimate the impact point directly outside the center of the cross without correction, and then aim with this point, but only experienced shooters can do it.

In addition, the wind direction deviation is not considered before the mission, and it needs to be calculated and corrected on the spot according to the actual weather and battlefield conditions, unless there is no wind on that day or the wind direction is completely along the track.
