What preparations are needed for self-driving single-depot expressway?
For the first time, in the summer of 2006, I just got a driver's license and had no driving experience, so I rented a van. I can't drive directly in the city without any driving skills. Seeing a road from Dushanzi to Kuqa on the map, I have the urge to have a look!
It's already dark from Karamay to Kuitun. I ate in Kuitun, took a bath in a bath center and had a rest. Starting from Kuitun at about eleven o'clock in the evening, Dushanzi was filled with oil. By the way, I asked about the road information and said I could walk. Let me be careful. Then set off, a person disappeared in the night of Tianshan Mountain! The map of Duku Highway seen on the paper map of Xinjiang Autonomous Region can't be enlarged, so you can't see any node cities along the way, only know that this road is called National Highway 2 17! It means that the national highway has been opened and it is a sandy road. The road conditions were ok at first. I can only see the road illuminated by the headlights, and I can't see anything else. So I went uphill for a while and downhill for a while. It was not until dawn that the car felt something was wrong. When I got off the bus, I found the rear tire burst. It is estimated that it has burst for some time, the tires are all broken and the rim has been deformed. I had to change the tire, because it was the first time to change the tire and I had no experience. The temperature in the mountains is very low in the morning, and I am shivering with cold. It took a long time to change the tire, but I found that the new tire didn't have much air pressure and the car couldn't go on. There happens to be a herder's house nearby. I think herders have motorcycles and should also have a pump. With the mentality of giving it a try, I asked the herdsmen if they had a pump. Fortunately, there is a pump. I borrowed 1000 times from the herdsmen to inflate the tire pressure of the car and then drive on. When I arrived in Bayinbuluke, I refueled and asked about the road conditions. The feedback is that the road conditions from Bayinbuluke to Kuqa are particularly poor. In some places, roads are washed away by floods, or they may fall into cliffs. At that time, the road conditions were not good. Starting from Bayinbuluke, the off-road vehicle was barely able to walk, whether it was back to Dushanzi or in the direction of Kuqa. The van is too risky, but there is no good way but to bite the bullet and drive forward! The road behind me really makes me feel bad. The road has been completely destroyed and closed by the road administration department of Yili Prefecture. The car can only move slowly along the traces of the road. After Tieli Maiti Daban, the road conditions are even more unimaginable. After the landslide, only the body width is left. Looking out, it is simply an abyss, and my legs have been shaking! I drove to Longtan with trepidation, and the road conditions were still very poor. There are no road signs and no one. I walked up and down the valley alone. Fortunately, there was no other way in the valley, so I went straight ahead. When I arrived in Agger Township, Baicheng County, the road was interrupted again. I found a Uighur fellow villager to lead the way, bypassed Agger Township, and continued to go to Kuqa County until 2 o'clock at night. When I got off the bus, I was covered with a thick layer of dust.
The second time, in 2008, was relatively simple. Of course, the horror ahead left a shadow on me. From Yili to Nalati and then to Bayinbuluke, after seeing Swan Lake in Bayinbuluke, I returned to Jorma. The road from Jorma to Dushanzi is closed because of road construction, and no vehicles are allowed to go with me. I had to stay in Jorma's dormitory for one night, and then go around Nilek and return to Dushanzi.
The third time, 20 14, the entire pavement of Dooku Highway has just been completed. In the afternoon, we set off from Urumqi and went to Dushanzi for dinner. The paved road is particularly easy to walk, so I won't say much! It was past eleven o'clock in the evening when we arrived in Bayinbuluke. I wanted to stay after dinner and asked the restaurant owner about the hotel. The owner of the restaurant said that I was afraid I couldn't find a room, and the hotel was particularly nervous during the summer tourist season. Then drive on, but there is not much gas in the car. Go to the gas station to refuel. The gas station has turned off the lights and closed. I knocked on the door and asked about the situation. I was told not to refuel at night. If I have to refuel, I will go to the police station to get the certificate and call the police station to complain. The police station kicked a ball to another gas station and closed the door! If there is no way, we will continue to move in the direction of Kuqa with an adventurous attitude. The paved road conditions are good, the throttle is controlled at 2500 rpm, and braking and refueling are minimized. In this way, I drove straight ahead and arrived at Longtan, and a new situation appeared. Kuqa Public Security Bureau closed the road and got off to ask about the situation. The answer I got was to stay in the car honestly and not go there before dawn! God, the car is running out of gas. It's so cold at night. How can I sleep in the car? When I had no choice, I called the Kuqa County Public Security Bureau for help and complained. The little girl who answered the phone was very considerate and communicated with the police on the spot to let us go! I did, but the car was almost out of gas, so I taxied downhill until Agger township was 60 kilometers away from the nearest gas station in Kuqa, and the oil meter turned yellow, so I continued to run. Fortunately, Japanese cars are still very fuel-efficient, and finally I made it to the Kuqa gas station!
The fourth time, 20 18, has been driving all over the country for more than ten years and is already an old driver. I am more familiar with Dooku's road. On the first afternoon, I set out from Urumqi and lived in Wusu, filling up the fuel tank. I'm afraid the bus to road trip will be stuck in the mountains during the day. I set off from Wusu at five o'clock in the morning, and when I got to the mountain, I happened to meet Mars rushing to the moon, photographed it, and then it was almost there. Play, from Tamboura grassland back to Yili, Tamboura grassland is very interesting, the scenery is really beautiful. Sailimu Lake is too expensive, so I looked outside and went back to Urumqi.
The fifth time, 20 18, Urumqi set out to live in Kuitun in the afternoon and set off in Kuitun at six in the morning. The mountains were still clear, and a flash of lightning struck Yorma. Starting from Jorma, I traveled along the Tamboura grassland, and then returned to Ullas Tai Reservoir. I live in Tamboura, and it is difficult to stay in Tamboura in summer. A broken house for 280 nights, and I didn't sleep well. The weather forecast predicts that it will rain the next day and the road will be closed. After getting up at seven o'clock in the morning, we went straight from running all the way to Tamboura. The sky is overcast and a storm is coming. We ran wildly in Tianshan Canyon. The traffic police closed the road as soon as they got out of the intersection of Dushanzi Sulphur Ditch. Fortunately, we have come out.
To sum up these self-driving times, we must pay attention to bringing thick clothes, maintaining and checking the vehicle, filling up the fuel tank, paying attention to the weather in advance, observing landslides and falling rocks on the way, planning and booking accommodation in advance, and driving the vehicle correctly! That's all, I hope I can help you!
