How to use lights correctly when driving a motor vehicle in rainy days? () A. You can't use the low beam B. You can't use it.

When driving a motor vehicle in rainy days, you can't use the high beam when using the lights correctly.

Description:

Article 58 of the Regulations for the Implementation of the Road Traffic Safety Law: When a motor vehicle runs at night without street lamps, with poor lighting or with low visibility such as fog, rain, snow, dust and hail, it shall turn on the headlights, position lights and rear position lights.

However, when the rear vehicle driving in the same direction is close to the front vehicle, the high beam shall not be used. Motor vehicles should turn on fog lights and danger warning flashlights when driving in foggy days.

Introduction of high beam:

Adjust the intensity of light according to the distance of filament. At the focus of the high beam, the light will be emitted in parallel, and the light will be concentrated and bright, so it can shine on objects far away and high. The low beam lamp is out of focus (between 1 and 2 times the focal length), and the light emitted diverges, which can illuminate a large range of objects nearby.

Effect:

High beam can improve the line of sight and expand the observation field of vision. On the dark road without street lamps, the visual range after turning on the high beam is much larger than that after turning on the low beam only. So in this environment, it is very necessary to turn on the high beam.

Types of motor vehicle lights:

1, headlight

Headlights are lighting devices installed on both sides of the front of the car for driving at night. There are two lamp systems and four lamp systems. The lighting effect of headlights directly affects the operation and traffic safety of night driving, so traffic management departments all over the world generally stipulate the lighting standards of automobile headlights in legal form to ensure the safety of night driving.

2. Outline lamp

The front and rear position lamp are installed at the outermost edge of the vehicle and as close as possible to the top to indicate the width of the vehicle. For some vehicles and trailers, they are used to supplement the front and rear position lamp to attract special attention to the whole. Usually, the front and rear position lights, position lights and side sign lights are lit at the same time, indicating the existence and width of the vehicle.

3. Fog lights

Fog lamps generally refer to automobile fog lamps. Automobile fog lamps are installed at the front and rear of the automobile, which are used to illuminate the road and give safety warnings when driving in rainy and foggy weather. The visibility of drivers and surrounding traffic participants is improved.
