Brief introduction of fotan town

Fotan is an ancient town with a long history. There used to be a clear pool at the foot of Furong Mountain, which reflected a natural rock like a Buddha's head on the top of the mountain, called Fotan, and even became a place name. This bridge across the Hongru River is called Fotan Bridge, and later the name of the bridge became a place name. As early as the Tang Dynasty, Chen Yuanguang, the secretariat of "Zhang Kai", wrote a magnificent poem "The Bridge of Little Hair and Fog". At that time, Chen Yuanguang authorized the establishment of Zhangzhou and Zhangpu counties, and set up stations in four places, among which the eastbound station was located in Fotan Bridge in Zhangpu County. From the Tang Dynasty to the Qing Dynasty, the official documents and local chronicles all called the current Fotan Town Fotan Bridge, while the masses mistakenly called it "Floating South Bridge", which is called Fotan for short in this paper. In the early years of the Republic of China, the Buddhist altar began to be written as a Buddhist altar, which is still in use today.
