A calm mind naturally cools down, where is the famous saying from?

The poet Bai Juyi of the Tang Dynasty went to visit Zen Master Hengji. The weather was very hot, but he saw Zen Master Hengji sitting there quietly in the room.

Bai Juyi asked: 'Zen Master! It's so hot here! Why not change to a cooler place? ’

Zen Master Hengji said: ‘I think it’s very cool here! '

Bai Juyi was deeply moved, so he wrote a poem:

Everyone goes crazy to escape the summer heat, but only the Zen master does not leave his room;

It is not a Zen room There is no heat, and it cools people's minds when they calm down.

————"The Zen Room of Master Hengji on Kureti"

The original meaning is that the heart is calm and the heart is naturally cool. It is later used to refer to calming down and dealing with life's problems with a normal heart when encountering problems, difficulties, and setbacks.
