Serengeti plain

For a long time, Africa has always been a distant and mysterious place in our hearts. When it comes to this land, the images that come to mind are quite complicated, including shocking news documentary photos of famine and war, the cover photos of Africa that National Geographic magazine particularly prefers, and of course the cheetah lying on the top of Kilimanjaro in the snow. This land can never be fully displayed by a person, a book or a movie, but no matter how you introduce this land in Africa, you can't escape wildlife. Filter advertisements

Some people say that there is a bond between wild animals and this mysterious land of Africa, which human beings can never set foot in. The Serengeti prairie between Tanzania and Kenya verifies this statement.

Serengeti means "land that flows forever" in Massai, and its name may come from the habit of large-scale migration of animals living on this grassland every year. Every July and August, thousands of animal residents on the grassland migrate from the western part of Serengeti grassland to the northern part with abundant water plants, and go south to prepare for calving in October, and then return to the western part of the grassland. Every year, no matter what bad weather and environment you encounter during your journey, no matter how many natural enemies are waiting to devour their young, their migration time and route are as accurate as a clock and as unchangeable as the earth's rotation. Animals on this grassland turn thousands of miles of migration into instinct every year. Why did they migrate? Why do they always take the same route? How do they transfer the knowledge of migration to the younger generation in the group? Scientists try to understand the mystery, but if you are not a wildebeest, how do you know what migration means to them?

We don't know anything, so we can only be an outsider to watch and appreciate. Take a van with an openable roof and enter the Serengeti grassland. You will enter the exotic wildlife world. Elephants, buffaloes, zebras, hippos, antelopes and giraffes can be seen everywhere. Fortunately, you can also see lions, vultures or ostriches. As long as you count the time and wait on the only way for animal migration, you can see groups of zebra and wildebeest running freely on the grassland. They are running, and the dust raised is like a veil on the grassland under the sunlight. Maybe we should describe such a spectacular migration scene with great momentum. The roar in the ear and the war horse in front of us are all demonstrations of vitality. This power is amazing and can break through all obstacles. For the development of mankind, the Tanzanian government once set up a barbed metal fence on the way of animal migration to prevent them from going north. Human beings tried to interfere with the order of Serengeti and prevent thousands of animals from traveling for thousands of years. The result, of course, was that the migrating army rudely crossed the fence and continued their journey of thousands of miles. Nothing can stop them, they are the masters here. The flow of Serengeti grassland will not stop because of anyone. This is the essence of life. Here, you will find that the most beautiful moment of a horse is the moment when it runs freely without any rider's control and halter. The charm of life is undoubtedly revealed in these advancing animals.

Perhaps the only person who can blend into the amazing natural world of Serengeti is the local indigenous Masai. However, they are also strange people to outsiders. They live in houses built with cow dung and wear unique Marseille national costumes. What is particularly surprising is that their auricles are covered with all kinds of ornaments, and even their noses are covered with ornaments. They are also a group of people we can't understand.

We will not stop exploring Serengeti, and the owner of Serengeti will not stop migrating because of our interference. Serengeti's flow is eternal.

Loire Valley-French Garden

To fully appreciate the French customs, you only need to go to two places, one is Paris and the other is the Loire Valley. If the multicultural Paris represents the romantic avant-garde side of France, then the Loire Valley is the quiet and classical back garden of France. The beauty of Paris lies in the collision and contradiction of various cultural styles; The Loire Valley is beautiful with its sweet and pure French style.

The Loire River is the longest river in France, and its most beautiful section is the middle reaches. There are many exquisite hills on both sides of the river filtered by advertisements, and ancient castles are hidden among green trees. Most of these castles were built in the Middle Ages and Renaissance. The deep castle houses are mottled with moss, which adds a sense of vicissitudes to this French garden. During the Hundred Years' War between Britain and France, the French royal family once fled to the Loire Valley for refuge, so the Loire Valley was also called the "Valley of the Kings". Many castles have left anecdotes about the royal family, which makes them more mysterious.

The most famous castle is Shenonsuo. The left and right wings of the castle span the banks of the Cher River, a tributary of the Loire River, and are connected by a five-hole covered bridge in the middle. It is often called "a ship moored on the Schell River". This is one of the most romantic castles in the Loire Valley, and many couples choose to hold their wedding here. The architectural style of this castle was very luxurious and elegant during the Renaissance. Many kings' concubines and ladies have lived here, so anecdotes related to the castle always have the shadow of love. The most famous "legend" is the competition between Diana, the concubine of Henry II, and Princess Catherine. This elegant and ethereal castle was originally a gift from Henry II to his wife Diana. Later, Henry II was killed in a gun battle, and the harem was in chaos. As a result, Katrina was authorized to drive Diana away. After careful care by the hostess of past dynasties, the decoration of the castle shows the luxury and elegance of the French royal family. Walking around the castle and looking at the luxurious rooms, you can imagine the luxurious days of princes and nobles.

Cambol is another magical place in the Loire Valley. Built in Francois I, it is the hunting palace of the French royal family. However, the motive for building this castle is only because Francois I fell in love with a girl who lived here. This is the largest castle in the Loire Valley, with 440 rooms, 84 stairs and 365 chimneys. The most special thing in the castle is the double gangway, with two sets of independent staggered railings. It is said that this design can avoid disputes between the queen and the king's mistress. The architectural style of the box combines the influence of French traditional architectural art and Italian Renaissance, and is regarded as a national treasure by the French. 198 1 year, the box was included in the century heritage list.

Some magazines directly say that the French in the Loire River are the purest French, and they are not afraid of causing so-called "biased" attacks. No wonder rabelais, the father of modern novels, was born here. Rabelais once said: "It was the French garden in the Loire Valley that gave birth to me and raised me." The Loire Valley not only gave birth to rabelais, but also gave birth to the female writer George? Sang, Proust, Balzac, Duke, etc. Balzac's human comedy is written here. Their lives and their works are inseparable from the beauty of the valley, and at the same time, they add a touch of elegance to this French garden. It can be said that Loire wrote them, or that they wrote Loire.

The most distinctive feature of French gardens in the Loire Valley is the sunset scenery. Have you ever thought about sitting on the balcony overlooking the Loire River on an early summer evening and watching the mysterious and quiet castle opposite and the distant vineyards dyed inexplicably colorful by the afterglow of the sunset? This is the work of the impressionist master Monet. A small stone makes the reflection of the castle in the water ripple around with the water waves. The air is the fragrance of flowers and plants in the valley, and you have a glass of white wine produced in the Loire Valley in your hand. Besides the Loire Valley, where else in the world can you find such a pure French leisure style?

Geography: Loire Valley is a plain valley in the middle of the Loire River, covering an area of 27,500 square miles in Fiona Fang. The Loire River is the longest river in France, with a total length of about 1020 km. Its sandy beaches enter the flood season every autumn.

Regional population: 5.5 million.

Celebrities who have lived here: george sand, Depardieu, Proust, Balzac, rabelais, Duke, etc.

Climate: A mild climate.

Specialty: Castle, liquor, writer.

Other castles: bulova, Chevy, etc.

Boulevard Castle: It was once the imperial capital of France for a century. The architectural origin of the castle highlights the image of the lily, the symbol of the French royal family.

Chevani Castle: The most luxurious castle in the Loire Valley.

Vatican

I love St. Peter's Cathedral, which is the most beautiful ornament on earth.

Emerson

Most of us repeat our lives every day, the same job, and have no passion for life. Maybe one day, suddenly, everything will be different. There may be thousands of reasons for the change, but one of them must be because you went to the Vatican to filter advertisements.

Few people can resist the charm of the Vatican. This is the smallest country in the world, with an area of only 44 hectares and a total population of only 1000, but it is the belief center of more than 800 million Catholics in the world. In addition to its own glorious historical sites, there are too many artistic masterpieces on display here, which makes people ecstatic.

At first, I suddenly walked into this treasure house of art, and for a moment, I seemed to fall into the time and space of the Middle Ages. Those who let Mount Tai collapse in front of you without changing color are bound to be absent. Michelangelo, Raphael, Rodin, Kandinsky, Dali, Monk ... These names that can only be looked up at at ordinary times suddenly become real in front of you, weaving a net tightly around you to capture your eyes and your heart. Rodin said that art is that the soul goes deep into nature and finds spiritual joy in it. The Vatican's temperament is the result of countless baptism and precipitation of art in the long river of history. Everyone can read the Vatican as a book, a textbook on the history and art of human civilization that transcends politics, interests and money. Every work of art here has washed away the ups and downs of the world for hundreds of years, washed away the noise of secular honor and disgrace, and set foot on a pure The Way.

When facing the art itself and savoring the historical emotion contained in it, no matter who it is, it will make people think. When you climb the dome of St. Peter's Cathedral and get a panoramic view of the Roman street scene, it's like throwing a stone into the lake, and the happiness and emotion that have been forgotten for a long time spread like waves. For the first time, I am deeply proud that I am the spirit of everything.

St Peter's Square, known as the most symmetrical and magnificent square in the world, was built in1year by Benigni, a famous architect in the 7th century. The square is oval, 340 meters long and 240 meters wide, with semi-circular marble colonnades on both sides, 284 columns and 88 square columns arranged in four rows, forming three corridors. On the platform facing the top of each stone pillar in the square, there is a 3.2-meter-high marble statue of a saint. In the center of the square stands a 26-meter-high obelisk. At the top of the monument is the cross that crucified Jesus. The stone used to build the monument was shipped from Egypt that year. There is a beautiful fountain on both sides of the square, and silver flowers splash everywhere.

St Peter's Cathedral, located in the southwest of the square, was once the largest church in the world. The whole building presents a cross-shaped structure with a traditional and sacred shape. The church was founded in 324 and rebuilt in the15th century. It was revised by several top architects and artists and completed on 1626. St Peter's Church is not only magnificent in appearance, but also an art treasure house.

It has the following collections.

Palau-Pacific Islands

Palau, an archipelagic country located 700 miles south of Guam in the western Pacific Ocean, is one of the gateways of the Pacific Ocean to Southeast Asia.

Palau consists of Babeur-Dob, korol, Peleliu, Angur and other major islands, as well as some atolls in the north and the Rocks in the west. According to local legend, Palau was transformed from the body of a greedy boy named Uab. He ate all the edible things, and the filtered advertisements caused famine in the town, so everyone decided to get rid of Uber. Everyone lit a fire around Uber. When the fire spread to Uber, he lay on the ground and struggled desperately. So his feet became Peleliu Island and Anjia Island, his legs became Kuluo Island, and his huge body became a big island. I wonder if this strange legend was originally invented by local people to scare children and warn them not to be too greedy. The island's products are only coconuts, sugar cane, pineapples and sweet potatoes, and food and daily necessities are imported. In this way, the islanders' fear of hunger is not unreasonable.

Of Palau's 340 volcanic and coral islands, only 8 have permanent residents. The islands are distributed on the sea surface 640 kilometers long from north to south, and the national coastline is 15 19 kilometers long. Most foreigners come here to enjoy the tropical ocean scenery, swaying palm trees, gentle sea breeze, silvery white beaches and underwater wonders. This is a famous diving place.

If you yearn for truly pure seawater, then Palau is the paradise you are looking for. Palau's Rock Islands is one of the purest marine ecosystems in the Pacific Ocean and the last piece of pure land without industrial pollution. Whether it is sunny or warm night, you can walk on the white and delicate beach and feel the clearest and transparent sea water in the world. The sea here has a peculiar blue-green, pure and peculiar, which makes people dare not believe and touch it. I'm afraid of breaking my dream if I reach out. In Palau, you will learn again what is the ocean, what is the earth, what is light and what is heat. With the hot air and cool sea water, it is not difficult to forget yourself and the outside world here. It seems that God created Palau to show what a wonderful world he can create.

Historical and natural features:

It was inhabited 4000 years ago. 17 10 was discovered by Spanish explorers. 1885 was occupied by Spain and 1898 was sold to Germany by Spain. It was occupied by Japan in World War I and captured by the United States in World War II. From 65438 to 0947, the United Nations entrusted it to the United States, and together with Marshall Islands, Northern Mariana Islands and Micronesia (Federated States of), it constituted four political entities of the Trust Territory of Pacific Islands. From 65438 to 0969, Palau began negotiations with the United States on its future political status. And signed the Treaty of Free Association with the United States in August 1982. However, in many referendums, the treaty was not adopted because it did not reach the legal majority of 75%. 1993 1 1 The eighth referendum was held in June, and the treaty was finally passed smoothly. According to this treaty, Palau ended its trusteeship status in1June 1994 and1June 1994, and became an independent sovereign country, but it still maintained a special relationship with the United States. In February of that year, Palau joined the United Nations.

Palau has a tropical maritime climate, with summer all year round and sunny weather every day. Even in the rainy season from July to 10, there are only afternoon thunderstorms at most.

Paris

Paris seems to have always been a city of dreams. On the official website, she is called "City of Light". In the eyes of westerners, light has always been the embodiment of God. Maybe Parisians think they are closer to God. No wonder Xu Zhimo once lamented that "people who have been to Paris will never be less in heaven." Some people call her "Babylon", which is what the American writer Fitzgerald called Paris in her novel Return to Babylon-a dream city with only luxury and enjoyment. Perhaps no one can tell exactly what kind of city Paris is, but everyone is sure that their stay in Paris will be the most unforgettable day of their lives. Most tourists yearn for an ancient and romantic Paris, that is, to start their trip along the perfect central axis of Louvre-Champs Elysé es-Place de la Concorde-Arc de Triomphe. Indeed, Paris is a city with a great sense of history, and the places of interest here are enough to make people linger. Coexisting with these classic monuments is another Paris, a Paris full of avant-garde and bohemian atmosphere.

As long as you get on the subway in Paris, you can clearly feel this. Paris subway has a long history. Some stations deliberately keep their original features unchanged, looking like an antique museum, while others are full of futuristic feeling, such as the science fiction world, such as la défence subway station. From this station to the ground, what stands in front of you is the unique and exaggerated "New Arc de Triomphe" in the world. In fact, this is a building that can accommodate 5000 people, and its uniqueness lies in this door that can put the whole Notre Dame de Paris in. Interestingly, the new Arc de Triomphe is located on the central axis of the Louvre-Champs Elysé es-Place de la Concorde-Arc de Triomphe, far away from the Arc de Triomphe, with ulterior motives and great ambition to break the perfect harmony.

This "deviant" building is by no means unique to Paris. If the Louvre represents the ancient civilization of France, then the Pompidou Center is the symbol of modern Paris. Here is the palace of avant-garde art, exhibiting various styles of western art works since the 20th century. The design of the center itself is also an avant-garde architectural art with strong visual impact. All the columns, stairs, pipes and other things that were deliberately hidden before were placed outdoors. The whole building looked like a chemical plant, surrounded by colorful pipes and steel bars. At the beginning, this "monster" was of course criticized, but now it is at peace with other classical buildings in Paris.

Paris is perhaps the most popular city for foreigners. It has almost become the Mecca of literature and art. How many world-famous artists and writers have lived here? Let's ask how many people have never been to Paris, so it's easier to calculate. /kloc-After the middle of the 0/9th century, Paris became a city of exiles. There is a relaxed political atmosphere here, and there is an anti-cultural trend of thought set off by students, literati and artists, which is the so-called Bohemian culture, so people choose to wander in Paris. In the 1920s and 1930s, many American writers gathered in Paris, including Hemingway and Fitzgerald. This group of young people's yearning for a better life was shocked by World War I, and they couldn't stand it and fled. They need an artistic atmosphere, because they will continue to make a living through creation, and at the same time they can't leave their senses and material enjoyment. They needed coffee, women, wine and dances, so they fled to Paris. Their only choice is Paris, and it seems that only Paris can accommodate this group of young people who are sometimes awake and intoxicated. They were just passers-by in Paris, but they left a deep impression on the city where they stayed. They used pens to make the moment in Paris eternal, and also left a part of their lives in Paris forever. Strolling along the Seine River and sitting in a roadside cafe, a stranger may feel some faint melancholy and wandering complex in Paris. In the last century, the "lost generation" left too much wandering and sentimental breath here, which still lingers today. Walking in Paris, you never know what will stay in your memory longer, whether it is the Arc de Triomphe or a cup of coffee in an open-air cafe one afternoon.

"Paris is not just a place, it has become a state of mind." No matter who you are, you can find the spiritual antidote you need in this nostalgic and avant-garde, quiet and noisy, international and localized city. In this sense, Paris is the best place for foreigners to stay. You can go to the Louvre to see the Mona Lisa, or you can go to Pompidou Center to see Picasso. You can go to the Paris Opera House or the Moulin Rouge on the Champs Elysé es. You can come to Paris to escape from life, or you can come here to simply enjoy life.

In fact, Paris is everywhere in the world. Maybe you haven't been to Paris, but you will probably stay in a cafe called "Left Bank" in the city where you live. Without going abroad, you can enjoy the fashionable products from Paris (or so-called from Paris) and feel the "spring" of Paris. But when are you going to visit the real Paris?

Location: The Seine River in northern France.

Population: 265,438+million

Climate: a mild maritime climate.

Attractions worth visiting:

Louvre: Originally the French Palace, 50 kings and queens have lived here since it was built in 1 190. Now the Louvre has become one of the largest museums in the world, with a collection of 400,000 rare treasures from all over the world. Including six exhibition halls, 198 exhibition hall. Da? Finch's Mona Lisa is collected in the gallery, while the statue of Venus stands in the art galleries of ancient Greece and Rome.

Arc de Triomphe: Echoing the Louvre at a distance, Napoleon built it to make people remember his brilliant achievements. The top and inside of the arch are carved with the victories of Bonaparte's battles, and the names of his 588 generals are also on the inner wall. Every year, on major festivals or special celebrations, the French people will revel under the Arc de Triomphe. The Arc de Triomphe has become a symbol of France. Under the Arc de Triomphe is the tomb of the Unknown Soldier, commemorating the soldiers killed in the two world wars. Every July 14, the French President will come here to lay a wreath.

Notre Dame de Paris: Notre Dame de Paris is a masterpiece of Gothic architecture, with exquisite statues and reliefs everywhere. But most people come to Notre Dame de Paris not to see the buildings, but to see the sunset on the Seine. At dusk, the number of talents in the church slowly increased. It is said that in order to watch the sunset in the church tower, there is sometimes a queue for an hour.

Eiffel Tower: The Eiffel Tower, which has become a symbol of Paris and even France, was controversial at the beginning of its construction. At that time, as many as 300 people from all walks of life jointly protested, including the famous writers Zola and Dumas. However, with the passage of time, Parisians gradually accepted and fell in love with this steel "giant". I don't know why many people choose to commit suicide here. By 197 1, there were as many as 370 people, so a guardrail was installed at the top of the tower.

If you happen to know novelist Lucy? Lucy Maud Montgomery and her famous novel Anne of Green Gables are certainly not unfamiliar with Prince Edward Island, because it is the hometown of the author and the heroine Anne.

"The carriage passed under the apple tree forest, and the continuous white arched crown under the head gave off a refreshing fragrance. At the end of the canopy, there is a colorful sunset, and the purple twilight covers the earth ... "Anne in the book was dumbfounded at first sight. In fact, when she first came to love Prince Edward Island, everyone's reaction was like this.

On this overseas continent, there is a strong European flavor everywhere. A large number of blue, green and red colors show the theme of Prince Edward Island, which is bright and feminine. Seagulls soar in the blue sea and blue sky, the green forest on the hillside is lush, flocks of cattle and sheep roam among the green fields, and crimson buildings support the green undulating farmland. At the junction of land and sea, the waves are blooming and the tides rise and fall. White, light blue, sky blue, sapphire blue and indigo lace rolled on the red beach, spreading to the depths of the ocean layer by layer. A maroon cliff stands on one side of the beach, and the top of the cliff is covered with green grass, like a cocoa cake wrapped in green powder.

The "land of Anne" of the local population is located in the north-central part of the island. Many people, especially Japanese, came here not far from Wan Li just to confirm the description in the book. This land is worthy of the insistence of book fans. Today, cavendish is still the simple appearance of Evanley Village written by Montgomery in 1908. The "green gables" still stand on the hillside, with white walls and green roofs, surrounded by gardens, lawns, barns, streams and forests. In the small yard, farm tools, carriages and wooden chairs are scattered, and Anne's clothes, books and handbags are in the room, as if the owner would come back at any time. Outside the window, sunflowers and roses are smiling in the wind. When you get here, put down your distractions, take a deep breath and relax. The air smells of sunshine.

Quiet, quiet, Prince Edward Island watches the sunrise and sunset every day, and the silence alone is fascinating. Red land outlines charming scenery, delicious seafood is always mouth-watering, the story of Anne with red hair is still celebrated, and Victorian houses are always bright and beautiful. It seems dull, but it reveals infinite temptation. Perhaps this is the characteristic of a delicate and pretty woman.

trout

The local salmon is also top-notch. Together with another specialty of Canada, maple sugar has become a famous local dish: smoked salmon with maple sugar. Salmon is very fat, maple sugar is very fragrant, but the taste is mouth-watering when it is served. There is also a salmon sandwich, which is made of pickled cucumber and salmon, and fresh fennel is added. It's not fishy at all. It's just a big movement of the index finger.

Dried mussel

Mussels are a specialty of Prince Edward Island and can be eaten in every restaurant. It is quite interesting to cook tender and delicious mussels with celery and carrots, add a little white wine and dip them in cream when eating.

Characteristics of each province:
