The cold weather froze the steering wheel. What happened?

It's not that the steering wheel is frozen, but that the tires are combined with the ground. Just call back and forth.

In addition to the above reasons, the steering wheel is not flexible in cold weather, which may also be caused by low tire pressure. In winter, due to heat expansion and cold contraction.

Tire pressure is often lower than usual. Lower tire pressure means greater contact area between vehicle tires and the ground. A larger contact area will bring more resistance to steering, so the steering wheel will become inflexible.

The main reason of automobile steering wheel sinking

1. The air mixed in the steering system of the automobile not only makes the steering heavy, but also makes noise during the steering process, so it needs to be handled in time to avoid unnecessary losses afterwards;

2. If the oil return filter in the oil storage tank is not maintained for a long time or is not replaced in time, it is easy to cause blockage, resulting in poor circulation of booster oil and heavy steering wheel;

3. If the cooperation between the rolling bearing and the sliding bearing connected to each steering system is too close, the lubrication effect of the bearing will be reduced, resulting in a stuck phenomenon, which is reflected in the performance of the steering wheel;

4. When the steering gear oil pressure is low, the steering wheel will be heavy. If the steering wheel becomes heavy due to the oil pressure of the steering gear, it needs to be repaired at the repair shop in time.

5. When the pump pressure of booster pump can't reach the standard value, there will be a heavy phenomenon when using the steering wheel. Check the flow control valve. During driving, the leakage of flow control valve or safety valve can be repaired by grinding, and then check whether the spring of safety valve is invalid.
