What is the difference between the temperature in the same place and the surface temperature?

At noon in summer, due to the different ground structure, the surface temperature under direct sunlight is 1.5-2 times of the local temperature.

As for winter, the temperature under direct sunlight is 5-8 degrees higher than the temperature.

Relationship between air temperature and ground temperature

The temperature reported in the weather forecast is the air temperature. After the heat energy of the sun is absorbed by the ground, the ground transfers the heat to the air through radiation, conduction and convection, which is the main source of heat in the air. The part of solar radiation directly absorbed by the atmosphere has little effect on heating air, and can only increase the temperature by 0.0 15 ~ 0.02℃. It is also for this reason that the ground temperature is generally higher than the air temperature.

Temperature:

Refers to the atmospheric temperature near the ground. The temperature is the temperature observed in the louver box, which is 1.5 meters away from the ground. Ventilation, on the lawn, to avoid direct sunlight on the ground. This can eliminate the huge influence of the difference of the surface (underlying surface) on the temperature and truly reflect the temperature of the atmosphere. This is a global unified observation standard with geographical representation, observation continuity and global comparability, and it is an international practice.

Factors affecting surface temperature:

There are also many factors that affect the change of surface temperature.

Such as surface humidity, temperature, light intensity, surface material (such as lawn or bare ground, cement ground, or asphalt ground) and so on.

For an area, the surface temperature of the area mainly depends on the latitude where the area is located (for example, the temperature difference between the area on the equatorial line and the Arctic Ocean in the Arctic is several tens of degrees), as well as the altitude difference, population density, industrial development and forest coverage (for example, the temperature difference between the desert area and the virgin forest area at the same latitude is also very large).
