"There is a lot of rain in the flood season, and there are many diseases in strawberry tea. It is necessary to dredge and drain the fields with accumulated water in time. " Li Yumei, director of Yongding Meteorological Bureau, said that strawberry tea has high requirements on the growing environment, especially the rain has a great influence on the production of strawberry tea. The meteorological department and the agricultural department jointly launched the meteorological service information of strawberry tea according to the main meteorological indicators in the growing period of strawberry tea. At the same time, there are special monitoring stations in strawberry tea planting areas to monitor meteorological factors such as temperature, humidity, wind speed and wind direction in real time.

As the largest strawberry tea production base in China, the comprehensive output value of strawberry tea industry in Yongding County of Zhangjiajie in 2022 exceeded 2.25 billion yuan. At present, the total area of strawberry tea is over135,000 mu, and there are 2 villages and towns with 10,000 mu of strawberry tea. Four provincial demonstration parks of strawberry tea characteristic industry, one provincial strawberry tea germplasm resource park 1, two star-rated tea tourism integration demonstration parks, and 23 strawberry tea producers and operators1have been built, and a number of key projects such as Zhangjiajie National Modern Agricultural Industrial Park have been built.
