What is the standard of entering spring in meteorology?

The meteorological criterion for entering spring is that the daily average temperature exceeds 10℃ for five consecutive days.

According to the meteorological industry standard issued by 20 12, the dividing index of spring is that the daily average temperature or moving average temperature is greater than or equal to 10℃ and less than 22℃.

Among them, the moving average temperature value is the average value obtained by taking five data of the current day and the previous four days as a group. Compared with other methods, this calculation method is more rigorous and can filter out the influence of temperature fluctuation to some extent. When the moving average temperature series is greater than or equal to 10℃ for five consecutive days, the first date reaching the spring index is selected as the spring start date from the nine-day measured daily average temperature data corresponding to the five sliding values.

From the climate point of view, beginning of spring is just a prelude to spring. According to climate standards, Tomb-Sweeping Day in the northeast and northwest enters spring, the vernal equinox and solar terms in North China enter spring, the middle and lower reaches of the Yangtze River enter spring before and after the shock, and the rain in the southwest enters spring. Only in the south of China, the beginning of spring solar term can be used as the beginning of spring.
