Why does beer explode?

According to experts, after conventional beer bottles are filled and sterilized at high temperature (62-64℃), carbon dioxide expands, and the pressure in the bottle increases (the internal pressure increases by 0. 1mpa for every increase in temperature). Overpressure bottles and wine bottles with poor endurance will naturally explode after disinfection and will not flow into the market. At present, most of the beer circulating in the market is bottled under pressure, and the pressure in the bottle is generally much lower than the internal pressure of the bottle (1.2- 1.6mpa). So beer bottles generally don't explode.

But in fact, in real life, bottled beer does explode and hurt people. Experts said that this is mainly due to improper transportation, handling, storage and opening methods. Therefore, in the process of transportation, sales and consumption, the following measures should be taken:

1. Pay special attention to packing beer with plastic rope when leaving the factory. Handling vehicles should be handled with care and straightened to prevent collision. Put a partition between the two floors, and tie it tightly around the vehicle with tarpaulin and net cover to avoid strong bumps on the way. Cushion the bike with wine and tie it with a rope. Drive with one hand and drive with the other. Don't let the bottle fall to the ground.

2. During storage, the stacking position should not be too high (no more than 5 bottles high). The warehouse should be kept cool and ventilated, shelves should be added between floors, and the indoor temperature should be controlled at 5-25℃. Beer must not be stored outdoors, let alone exposed to the sun or placed in a high temperature environment. High temperature and exposure not only make beer aging and destroy its flavor, but also make liquor temperature rise, carbon dioxide precipitate and internal pressure increase to produce self-explosion. The beer stored at home should be kept in a place where it is not easy to knock over.

Beer should be sold indoors. Many business operators put wine on both sides of the street or outside the store door and expose it to the sun for a long time. After consumers buy wine, most of them take it home by bike. After exposure and bumping, the pressure in the bottle rises, and if it is opened improperly, the bottle may burst. This is also the reason why many stories about bottle bursting happen in summer.

4. When buying wine, some consumers are used to shaking bubbles to identify the quality of beer, which is incorrect. Shake will release carbon dioxide and increase the pressure in the bottle. The correct way is to see whether the liquor is clear and transparent and whether there is suspended matter. The poured liquor is rich in foam, white and delicate, lasting in hanging cups, smelling obvious hops aroma, pure in taste and refreshing to drink.

5. Before drinking, it is best to put the beer in the refrigerator or freezer for ice cooling or soaking in cold water for a period of time, which can effectively stabilize the carbon dioxide, and at the same time, it can better maintain the taste of the beer and make the beer pure and delicious.

6. Improper opening of the bottle cap is one of the main causes of bottle bursting, especially for young people, who like to chew with their teeth, pry with chopsticks, touch the corners, and rub two bottles of wine together. What's more, it is very dangerous to bump the bottle cap on their knees or desktop after violent shaking. When the internal pressure increases and a strong external impact is encountered, the wine bottle is easy to burst. Because its position is close to people's position, it is often the face that is injured. The correct way is to open it with a bottle opener.

Seven, when drinking, generally do not put the brand bottle under the table, and do not put too many bottles on the wine table, so as not to knock the bottle down and explode.
