How to get to Crescent Bay Park?

Traffic guide of Yueya Bay Park: Half Moon Bay is 9.7 kilometers away from the passenger terminal, which can be reached by car.

Crescent Bay, also known as Half Moon Bay, is located at the northernmost tip of North Changshan Island in Changdao County. It is built on a long crescent beach of about 2000 meters, just like a huge crescent moon. The main buildings in the park include a "crescent pavilion" with a height of more than 20 meters, a "Guanlan pavilion" standing on the cliff, and a promenade with a length of about 1000 meters. There is also a 100-meter "stone carpet" decorated with stone balls in front of the promenade, which feels like "stepping on pearls".

The most affectionate is the pebble in Crescent Bay, which can be said to be a gem-like pebble world. It is as white as jade and crystal clear as amber. No matter where you find it, you will be reluctant to leave one behind. Party and state leaders have come to Crescent Bay many times, and all of them have written poems for Crescent Bay.

1979, Ye Jianying came to Long Island and wrote an inscription for Crescent Bay: "Moon Bay in Changshan Island, where agriculture and fishing are combined, and the high-priced pebbles are brilliant, and women and children do not feel hard"; 1964 Dong Wei wrote an inscription for Crescent Bay: "Visit Changshan Island and be suddenly enlightened". Anyone who swims across Changshan Island will feel the same way as Dong Lao.

In order to adapt to the growing tourism industry, the county party committee and government of Changdao decided to build Crescent Bay Park. The first stage of the project is to build a new promenade, reception room, bathroom and dressing room, which have been completed. The second phase of the project will build a national standard swimming pool, garden facilities and various tourist facilities for tourists.
