Weather in European countries

Western Europe and Central Europe generally have a temperate maritime climate, with no severe cold in winter and no heat in summer. A year's rainfall is average, with more rainfall.

Southern Europe has a Mediterranean climate, with hot summers and mild and rainy winters, with rainfall concentrated in winter.

Eastern Europe has a temperate continental climate. Compared with temperate maritime climate, it is hotter in summer, colder in winter and less in precipitation.
