In this age of looking at faces, which one is more terrifying to you, a "power outage" or a "water outage"?

Power outages and water outages are fatal to everyone, and the same is true for me, but when it comes to which one is more terrifying, this is also considered on a case-by-case basis, based on where I live. The difference depends on the situation.

If I were living in my own home, it would definitely be a terrible power outage. A water outage would have no impact at all, because my home is in a rural area, and I basically use groundwater, and the taps are also groundwater, which is the same as in cities. The ones inside are different. In this case, who cares if it stops the water supply? We can still use the water where we should. Even if it stops the water supply, it won't be a big deal.

But a power outage is different. The impact of a power outage is too great, especially in this hot weather. If there is a power outage, the fan and air conditioner will not be able to blow. It will be so hot. And if there is a power outage, there will be no wireless network, which is really a torture. Now life without the Internet is simply no fun.

If I live in the place where my sister works, it would be terrible to have water outage. When my sister works in their company, she always lives in a house with three bedrooms and one living room rented by the company. I spent my summer vacation last year. I lived with her for a while because I wanted to find a summer job there. The water outage is really scary in her place. Because the house rented by her company, there is no wireless network. She also eats outside. If the mobile phone runs out of power, I still have a power bank, so the power is very important. My temptation is not that great.

But the water outage is different. The toilet cannot be flushed, there is no water to wash hands, and we cannot boil boiled water for drinking. We have to buy water outside, and we have to go far downstairs to get tap water. That would be so painful.

So, for me, it all depends on the situation. Water and power outages each have their own disadvantages, and it’s all about men. People nowadays probably can’t accept it. After all, it feels like this is completely the basis of survival. How to survive without water and electricity is simply unimaginable.
