Moxi ancient town

Moxi Ancient Town is located in the south of Luding County, Ganzi Prefecture, on the east slope of Gongga Mountain Scenic Area and at the entrance of Hailuogou Glacier Forest Park. Belonging to the peripheral protection zone of Hailuogou Scenic Area, it is the tourist reception base and entrance of Hailuogou Scenic Area. Moxi Town is about 304 kilometers away from Chengdu, 52 kilometers away from Luding and 70 kilometers away from Kangding. Moxi ancient town has a long history. Despite the vicissitudes of time, people can also see its long-standing historical traces from its many ancient buildings in Ming and Qing Dynasties. China-style architecture still retains that dignity, and the prayer bell, one of the Gothic churches built by French missionaries, has been echoing for a century. After breakfast in Moxi Ancient Town in the morning, you can drive to Hailuogou Scenic Area! Sightseeing in the ditch, I suggest you take a tour bus and go directly to Camp 3 to enjoy the beauty of the glacier first. On the way to take the tour bus from Mizoguchi, you will pass through Camp 1 and Camp 2, and then pass through the beautiful virgin forest. If you are lucky, you can also see the beautiful scenery of "Rizhao Jinshan". Finally arrived at Camp Three for sightseeing.

Visitors who like to explore on foot can walk along the sightseeing road to the observation deck. It takes about 1 hour to walk from camp 1 to camp 2, and about 1 hour to walk from camp 2 to camp 3. Passing through the virgin forest on the way, it is beautiful. You can see different high-altitude scenery along the way, especially the small flowers. After arriving at the observation deck, you can go down to the bottom of the glacier and watch the glacier at close range. The magical scenery will definitely make you glad you came.

After soaking in hot springs, you can go back to Moxi ancient town or stay in the ditch for one night. There are also accommodation places in the ditch, namely 1 camp, camp 2 and camp 3. Most tourists live in Camp Two, where they can soak in hot springs. Stay in Camp Three, and you can get up at dawn to see Rizhao Jinshan. There are hotel standard rooms or wooden villas to choose from. Of course, it costs more.
