What does rough concrete pavement mean?

Generally, cement concrete pavement needs to be roughened and grooved. The main purpose is to increase the anti-skid performance of the road. Cement concrete pavement is smoother than asphalt pavement and has poorer anti-skid performance, especially in rainy weather. Driving safety, roughening can increase the friction between the tire and the road and improve the anti-skid performance of the road.

Rubbing treatment is a construction method, mainly used for tiling, because tiling on smooth walls is not very stable and strong. There are three ways to roughen the wall. One is to use a cutting machine to make many grooves on the wall. The other is to dip a broom in cement slurry water and pat it on the wall surface, so that the cement water will seep in and form bumps on the surface.

The last one is high-pressure water roughening, which uses ultra-high-pressure water jets to directly draw many deep grooves on the wall. Nowadays, roughening treatment is also common on the "quilts" used in highway construction. Cut many lanes on the old road surface, clean them, and then lay asphalt and gravel over them. The purpose is also to improve adhesion.

1. Before wiping, clean the edges and seams first, remove the sticky slurry, and repair the fallen edges and missing corners. Generally, a small electric grinder is used for troweling. The disc is first installed for rough polishing, and then the fine wiping blade is installed for polishing. During the operation, the operator should smooth back and forth, and the operator should overlap a portion of the surface. The initial plastering should be carried out 10 minutes after the concrete is leveled. The construction time should be extended in winter. After smoothing the surface with a trowel, sometimes use a mopping belt to gently drag it horizontally a few times.

2. After wiping the face, when a dent of about 2mm in depth can appear when you press it with your index finger, it is the best time to pull the hair. The depth of the hair removal is 1 to 2mm.

3. When drawing, the drawing machine should be against the template and proceed in the direction of the cross slope. During the process, no stop should be made in the middle. In this way, the drawing texture will be smooth and beautiful, and a communicating groove will be formed to facilitate drainage.
