On June 24th 13, the surface temperature in Jiyuan, Henan Province reached 74. 1℃, breaking the record of the highest surface temperature since local observation.

According to the monitoring of Henan Meteorological Observatory, on June 24th, high temperature above 37℃ occurred in most areas north of Huaihe River in Henan Province, including Jiaozuo, Jiyuan, Luoyang, Zhengzhou, Xinxiang, Xuchang, Pingdingshan, Luohe, Kaifeng, Shangqiu, Zhoukou and Nanyang. The highest temperature in 67 counties and cities exceeds 40℃, the highest temperature in Shanyang District of Jiaozuo, Henan Province is 43.3℃, and Zhengzhou Station is 42.3.

From June 13, 2022, high temperature weather began to appear in Henan.
