How is the front mentioned in the weather forecast formed?

The temperature in different areas is also different, which leads to the constant flow of air, that is, cold air and warm air. When a large area of cold air and warm air meet, an obvious interface will be formed between them. We call this interface "front" or "front".

Generally speaking, warm air is above the front and the temperature is high; Below the front is cold air.

If the cold air is strong, pushing the front in the direction of warm air is called a cold front, or a cold air front. On the other hand, if warm air pushes the front to move in the direction of cold air, it is called warm front, also called warm air front. If the cold and warm air are evenly matched, the front will stay in a certain area, which is called a static front.

Whether the cold front comes or the warm front comes, it usually rains. After the cold front, the temperature drops obviously, often accompanied by strong winds. After the warm front, the temperature rose and the sky was clear. If a static front forms, there will be rainy weather. The rainy season south of the Yangtze River in China is caused by the static front staying in this area.
