What is the principle of paragliding ascending?

The paraglider itself has no power, and it must rely on external forces to climb. When the weather is clear, the pilot can climb to the height of cumulus clouds that day, usually the dew point height of 2000 ~ 4000 meters, by controlling the flight direction and entering the hot airflow. Or in windy weather, depending on the dynamic airflow caused by the mountain shape, the height is usually limited by the dynamic airflow, which is basically equivalent to the height of the mountain.

The fastest and most effective use of airflow has always been the pursuit of paragliders. In the process of cross-country race, the forward speed of lateral space is as important as the upward speed of vertical height, which is the key factor for pilots to win.

1. The forward speed of lateral space is closely related to the throttle control. The accelerator carries ABC three sets of umbrella ropes. After stepping on the accelerator, the elevation angle of the parachute wing decreases, forming a downward dive angle and increasing the parachute speed. In addition, it is also closely related to the design speed and sinking speed of the equipment itself. Generally speaking, in the speed state of normal cruising speed, the umbrella has the best comprehensive performance (the best speed, the smallest sinking rate and the best turning performance). When our athletes compete abroad, the gap between them and foreign players in this field is not particularly obvious, but the gap is often pulled out in the speed and method of vertical height.

2. It is a key technical problem to improve the lifting speed of the drum in the longitudinal height. In foreign competitions, the time to open and close the window is one to one and a half hours. After the unified window opening, the pilot carries GPS through the first punctuation mark in the air, that is, the starting point (it doesn't matter if you enter in advance, you can also leave temporarily and bypass the sign after the take-off time). What the first echelon should do after opening the window is to gain time to rise to the altitude and use this altitude to do cross-country flight. In the process of altitude replenishment after bidding, the same airflow, different pilot operation skills and different parachute performance will reflect the difference of winding speed, and then there will be differences in technical level.
