Wang Chengxi (1940-), formerly known as Wang Chenglin, is a native of Weishi County, Henan Province. He graduated from the Central Academy of Arts and Crafts and is a famous Chinese painting artist.

He is good at drawing flowers and birds, especially plum blossoms. His works have been exhibited in the Great Hall of the People, Zhongnanhai, Tiananmen Gate and the VIP room of the Japanese House of Representatives, and have been collected by art galleries at home and abroad such as China Art Museum. His masterpiece is Painting Plums in Wang Chengxi.

Painting career: On one occasion, he found a Chimonanthus praecox in the backyard. Its branches were as curved as a dragon, as strong as iron, full of flower buds and exotic flowers and grasses, which were particularly beautiful, and the fragrance from the bones came to my face.

He thought blankly, as if stunned by the plum blossom fairy. It began to rain lightly. He didn't move, just stood in the rain and observed the taste.

Since then, the appearance, character, temperament and charm of plum blossom have ignited the spark of his mind for the first time, and his heart has produced a strong sound with plum blossom.
