Putian City is located in the East China Sea coast of China on the west coast of the Pacific Ocean, in the middle of the golden coastline of Fujian Province, with a distance of Fuzhou 108km from the provincial capital, Xiamen Special Economic Zone 190km from the south, across the sea from Taiwan Province Province, and only 72 nautical miles from Taichung Port. Putian has a land area of 4,200 square kilometers and a population of 2.9 million. The territory has a subtropical maritime monsoon climate with an annual average temperature of 18℃-2 1℃. There is no cold in winter, no heat in summer, four distinct seasons, mild and humid.
