What is the heavy rainfall in many places across the country?

According to the latest forecast of the Central Meteorological Observatory, in the near future, many places in the north and south of China will encounter regional heavy rain. To this end, the Central Meteorological Observatory continued to issue a yellow rainstorm warning at 6 o'clock this morning.

It is estimated that from 8: 00 today to 8: 00 tomorrow, there will be heavy rains in parts of central Inner Mongolia, most of Hebei, Beijing, Tianjin and northwestern Shandong, including heavy rains in northeastern and southern Beijing, northwestern Tianjin and southeastern Hebei. There are heavy rains in southern Chongqing, north-central Guizhou, northwestern Hunan, southwestern Hubei, northeastern Jiangxi, central Zhejiang, northern and southern Guangdong, and northwestern Guangxi. Among them, there are heavy rains in northwestern Hunan, northeastern Guizhou and southeastern Chongqing.

Up to now, relevant departments have successively issued severe convective weather warning, rainstorm warning, geological disaster meteorological risk warning and mountain flood disaster meteorological warning.

In addition, the Central Meteorological Observatory continued to issue a blue warning of severe convective weather at 6 o'clock this morning: it is expected that there will be 8- 10 thunderstorm or hail weather in parts of central Inner Mongolia, eastern Shanxi, western and south-central Hebei, southeastern Beijing and northern Shandong from 8 o'clock today to 8 o'clock tomorrow. The main influence period of strong convection is from this afternoon to midnight.
