cappadocia

Capadocia is located in the Anatolian Plateau in central Turkey, which is the most visually stunning area in Turkey. It is this seemingly barren area that is inextricably linked with Christianity. There are many names to describe Capadocia, such as "Elf Chimney, Moon Landform, Star Wars Shooting Place, Monk Cave" and so on. Each name may represent a bright spot worth stopping. In fact, Capadocia also has a name, which is its original meaning: "the place where horses were born". Cappadocia is mentioned more than once in the New Testament, and its unique karst landform exudes breathtaking beauty, which makes countless travelers dream about it. Cappadocia was selected as one of the "Top Ten Beautiful Scenery on Earth" by National Geographic magazine for its unique geography and unique scenery. 20/KLOC-In September, 2003, we visited the prestigious Capadocia on 24th and 25th during our tour in Turkey.

Grameen National Park brings together the essence of strange landforms. In 4000 BC, local people first used these caves. During the Byzantine period, churches and monasteries also dug some caves, some of which were used as churches, and the golden murals were in harmony with the surrounding natural environment, which was also true and illusory. Some mountains are bare, so they are also called strange mountains.

Three million years ago, two huge volcanoes, Mount Ercis (39 16m) and Mount Hasan (3268m), erupted, making the plateau around Nevsehir covered with soft stones, ashes and mud containing limestone and lava. This fragile rock formation has been eroded by wind and rain, forming cone-shaped and mushroom-shaped rocks in various colors such as red, gold, green and gray, and spectacular surreal scenery such as canyons with caves.
