Jupiter is a gaseous planet. If astronauts have enough conditions, will landing on Jupiter experience it?
Jupiter, which failed to become a star, is very depressed. We all think that Jupiter is the big brother in the solar system. As the largest planet, Jupiter can swallow 132 1 earth in one gulp, and its composition is roughly the same as that of the sun: 75% hydrogen and 24% helium. But in my opinion, Big Brother Jupiter is not happy because it wants to be a new star in Ran Ran.
At that time, when molecular clouds and dust accumulated to produce the solar system, it should have formed a binary star system like most galaxies in the universe. However, the solar system is located in a remote mountain village in the Milky Way, and the lack of material can't create two stars.
So, in order to win the title of "star", the two forces began to compete for materials. The bigger and stronger the last party, the more the sun becomes. Even if the other side absorbed most of the material that the sun missed, it was still not strong enough to ignite thermonuclear fusion and eventually had to become a planet. This is Jupiter.
However, the temperature inside Jupiter is still very high, and it radiates twice as much energy as it gets from the sun. If you only look at the infrared band of the spectrum, it is not too much to regard Jupiter as a star.
In 1950s, when radio astronomy (radio is a longer wave band than infrared ray, which is used to detect the waste heat of life) just started, it was found that Jupiter is a very strong radio transmitter.
Depressed Jupiter feels a lot of pressure. In fact, Jupiter is very artistic. It imitates the brushwork of Van Gogh's Starry Sky and draws a magnificent cloud for itself. These clouds are like belts, opposite to Jupiter's rotation. Dark places are called "bands" and bright places are called "bands".
Under the beautiful clouds, the atmospheric pressure is more terrible than anywhere on earth. Under this high pressure, the electrons of hydrogen atoms will be squeezed out to form liquid metal hydrogen, which has never been seen on earth. If this thing can be made on the earth, it will definitely be an electronics revolution, because liquid hydrogen may be a superconductor at the normal temperature of the earth.
Entering Jupiter's interior, the pressure can be increased to about 3 million times of the surface atmospheric pressure, and the black and thick metal hydrogen ocean may be wrapped in a dense core. Of course, no one dares to prove it.
But at present, most astronomers agree with this hypothesis, so Jupiter is not only a gas, but also a liquid and solid in extreme physical environment.
Jupiter under heavy pressure will always be a thunderous Jupiter, a bit like Huo Ying's spot that failed to compete with thousands of hands, and red erythema was born in anger. This is also Jupiter's most famous anticyclone storm. This cyclone has existed for at least 654.38 billion years, but now it is gradually decreasing, and the reason for the decrease is as mysterious as the reason.
We just got red-eyed when it lost its competition with the sun, and now we finally calmed down. But Jupiter's violent weather system still makes Jupiter look like a land of thunder. The raging lightning is at least 1000 times stronger than the earth.
Juno visited Jupiter and detected 377 Jupiter lightning, with frequencies ranging from megahertz to gigahertz. However, unlike the tropical and subtropical regions on both sides of the equator, Jupiter's super lightning mostly occurs in the polar regions, and most of it occurs in Jupiter's North Pole.
On earth, the equator receives the most radiation, so warm moisture is more likely to rise at the equator, and the rising airflow will contribute to a large number of thunderstorms. In Jupiter, the radiation from the sun only stabilizes the temperature of Jupiter's equatorial upper layer, but prevents the airflow from rising. Without stable polar radiation, the hot air inside Jupiter is more likely to rise to form a super thunderstorm.
However, scientists don't have a clear answer to why there is a lot of lightning in the Arctic. But I think it has something to do with Jupiter's powerful magnetic field.
Jupiter's huge magnetic field is a bit weird. There is no denying that Jupiter's magnetic field is the most powerful in the solar system except the sun. Jupiter's geomagnetic field can also capture charged particles that escape from the sun in the form of solar wind. These charged particles are bound in clouds and can only jump between Jupiter's poles.
As for Jupiter's magnetic field, we still don't have a clear understanding. Juno sent back a lot of new data to study Jupiter's magnetic field, and the researchers drew a detailed magnetic field map with a depth of 10000 km. But with the abundance of data, it seems that it will only lead to more confusion in the description of magnetic field.
Generally speaking, the magnetic field lines come out from the Arctic and re-enter from the Antarctic. However, Kimberly Moore of Harvard University and his colleagues plotted and analyzed Jupiter's magnetic fields at different depths, and found that most of Jupiter's magnetic flux left the charged effect region through a narrow region in the northern hemisphere (red in the above picture) and re-entered Jupiter in a highly concentrated region near the equator (blue in the above picture). This regional research group calls it "the big blue dot", but the magnetic field in other places is obviously weak.
The conclusion is based on speculation about Jupiter's strange environment. If someone really wants to cross, please be prepared to be killed by "Banye Fire", crushed by "Overweight Cloud Art" or hacked to death by "Leiche".
