Appreciation of Chen Liang's Ci

Ye Shi recorded in the article After the Biography of Shu Long (Shui Xin Collection, Volume 29) that every time Chen Liang wrote a word, he often sighed to himself: "His economic mind is a little old in his life." In Chen Liang's own words, his ci is not generally coquettish, but contains the ideological ambition of saving the world and the people. In other words, reading his ci must be related to his life experience and political thought, so as to explore its profound connotation. This song, Yu Meiren. The word "Spring Sorrow" was selected by Huang Bin in "Wonderful Poems Selected since Zhongxing", which shows that he attaches great importance to this word. Carefully commenting on this word, Chen Longchuan said: "Chen Longchuan likes to talk about the general trend of the world, claiming to be honest, and his words are also sparse." This statement seems very abstract. Its name is "Spring Sorrow". What does he worry about in spring? Worth further taste.

The first two sentences: "The east wind gently swings the clouds, and sometimes it sends rain." The east wind is blowing gently and there are only a few faint clouds in the sky. This sunny weather is pleasant, but sometimes it rains heavily. The "wind" and "rain" in these two sentences are the eyes of the whole word, and the great spring scenery disappeared in the wind and rain. Understand the full meaning of this word. "Swallows on the waterside terrace are newly returned, full of fragrant mud, falling flowers and flying wet belts." These two sentences evolved from the poem "Whose new swallow pecks at the spring mud" in Bai Juyi's Spring Tour in Qiantang. What spring scenery is that! Spring is thin and people are tired. "Spring is thin" is the theme of the whole word. Take a break and say, "crows crow in the dusk yard, remember that man, pears bloom in the moon." In the courtyard at dusk, there are crows in Liu Yin, indicating that it is a moonlit night. "That man" may be looking for the last spring scenery, stepping on the moonlight to pick the pears left in this storm. Moonlight is white, so is the color of pear. Pear blossom moonlight is in a dilemma. When folding pears, it seems to be folded with the moon. What a beautiful image! This image is the image of "the man". Who is "that man"? Who else but the poet himself? Sadly, this pear flower image will also disappear with the wind and rain.

The spring scenery described by the poet is stormy, falling flowers, swallows holding mud and crows crowing the moon, which gives people a bleak feeling, which is a reflection of his emotions. It is natural common sense that flowers bloom and fall, but in the eyes of this enthusiastic poet, it has caused his melancholy. Why is this? He is an upright and talented man. What he is dissatisfied with is that since the establishment of the Southern Song regime, he has forgotten his father's deep hatred and bowed to the Jin people, taking the road of peace. He has written to Xiaozong many times, stating the strategy of recovery, but all failed. In the middle of his long-term hometown, he was framed by a traitor, repeatedly imprisoned and almost killed. However, his ambition has not changed at all. He is thinking about the world. His dirty anger has been expressed many times in his words. Such as "water". Chunhen said, "I hate the world, so tourists don't appreciate it, so I gave it to Yingying Yan", "Eye-catching Spring Sorrow" said, "People are the most worried, and it's misty and rainy around dusk", and "Sijia Guest Chun Qing" said, "The bridge hand returns, and the residual flowers are a little red". In the author's impression, spring is lovely, but it is also short-lived, bringing him only sadness and hate. This song "Youth Beauty in Spring Sorrow" is also one of them. When these words are linked with his bumpy life and political ambitions, the connotation of "worry" expressed in this poem is very clear, that is, time is fleeting and ambition is hard to pay. In terms of artistic techniques, the use of metaphors and layers of sketches constitutes a profound and desolate artistic conception. The deeper and more touching, it is one of the excellent works in his ci collection.
