The special feature of Rangtang is that there is a rare Jue Nang sect.

The famous temples in Rangtang include Zengke Temple, Batuo Temple, etc. Coming out of Rangtang County, along the valley to the south, about 30 kilometers away, there are three towers about 50 meters high by the river. This is Zenke Temple.

Zengke Monastery belongs to the Kagyu Sect of Tibetan Buddhism. In the 1950s, Zeng Ke built a nine-story Miller Pagoda here, called Zeng Ke Temple. Later, Lama Zengke built a retreat center, and many practitioners came after hearing the news. Lama Zengke initiated and preached Buddhism to them. Gradually, the guest temple prospered.

Batuo Temple is located on the banks of the Quze River in Rongmuda Township, Rangtang County, Aba Prefecture, 32 kilometers away from the county seat. Ba Tuo Temple means "temple on the grass dam". According to historical records, the stone Buddhist sutras were carved by more than 60 stonemasons during the Zhengtong period of the Ming Dynasty and took 9 years to carve, covering an area of ??598 square meters. It is a rare stone-carved Buddhist temple and Buddhist scripture at home and abroad. It is also the most complete stone-carved Buddhist scripture and has high cultural relic and artistic research value. In 2001, it was listed as a national cultural relic protection unit.

Architecture is called solidified music. Walking among fertile fields, ponds, and valleys, you will often find surprising discoveries. Xiuka Zangzhai is located in Xiuka Village, Yixiang, Rangtang. It is as high as Yongbulakang and equally dangerous. When we stopped at the Duke River Gorge, a tributary of the upper reaches of the Dadu River, and looked up at this Tibetan village for a long time, we were still shocked. It is said that Tibetan Village was once a stronghold of tribal wars. Now that the smoke has long dissipated, this Tibetan village has been fortunately preserved and has become a living fossil in the history of Tibetan architecture.

If the reputation of Xiuka Zangzhai is more due to its unique geographical location, then the Lishmanba Tower House in Zongke Township is due to the building itself. The Diaofang was built in the early Ming Dynasty. It is a nine-story flat-roofed building with a stone and wood structure. The Diao Fang integrates the architectural art of Jiarong, Kham, and Anduo. It is the traditional Diao Fang building with the longest history and the highest floor in Aba Prefecture. When you stand under the blue sky and look up at the fortresses that have gone through more than 600 years of history, you will sincerely admire them. Worthy of being the “King of Tibetan Houses”!
