Sketch Diary Hongcun Xiuli

On October 6, I took a long-distance ride from Changsha to Xidi. There were several provinces in between. I set off at 6:30 in the morning and arrived at around 5:00 in the afternoon. It was an eight or nine hour drive.

Because I got up early, as soon as I got in the car, there was a large area of ????catch up with me. It was cloudy in Changsha for a few days, and the car windows were covered with fog. The scenery outside was hazy and hard to distinguish. It was very quiet in the car. Everyone sat in their seats and squinted their eyes to take a nap.

After the car drove onto the highway, there were continuous green on both sides of the road. In the overcast weather, the green was cold. Hunan has many hills but no mountains. There were only high and low greens along the way. , on the green hills are the misty mountains that curl into the sky like white gauze. The mist of the mountains melts into the sky and becomes the same color as the gray clouds. Only when you look at it from a distance do you know what the charm of the green mountains is. After seeing too much, it is inevitable to be aesthetically tired. After watching it for a while, I felt sleepy and fell asleep all the way. I stopped twice to rest and had dinner at a place when I arrived in Jiangxi at noon.

After leaving Changsha, I suddenly noticed that the weather had changed drastically. The weather in Changsha was gloomy, but the sun was shining brightly here in Jiangxi. Although it was a sunny day, it was not too hot, sunny and bright, which made people feel happy. .

After getting in the car, we had already traveled nearly two-thirds of the way. I felt tired in the afternoon, and it seemed that long-distance driving was the most sleepy thing. It was probably because I was bored sitting there, and the scenery outside the window was the same.

After passing several tunnels, I saw the gray walls and the horse-head wall from a distance, and I knew that I had indeed arrived in Anhui.

When we entered Hongcun at around seven o'clock the next morning, we saw a flat lake with lotus leaves scattered around and a boat moored. The mountains in the distance were hazy and shrouded in mist. There is an archway beside the lake. After walking a few steps from the archway and entering the door, you can truly enter the village.

The village has typical Huizhou architecture, with green tiles, white walls and red lanterns. Horse-head walls, ancestral halls, houses, embroidered buildings, small gardens...the walls of some walls on the roadside have fallen off, revealing the gray and black color underneath. The mottled walls have a sense of ancient times.

There are tourists everywhere. There was a huge flow of people, and there were still a lot of people on the last day of the National Day holiday. The weather is great.

On the third day, I walked through Xidi completely from inside to outside. Different from the tour guide’s quick tour, I walked around by myself, visiting every nook and cranny, inside and out. The sun is still shining brightly in Xidi today. The National Day is over and most tourists have gone back. The residential alleys are quiet and peaceful in the mottled light and shadow, and truly have the charm of an ancient town.

There are many cats in the ancient town. In the streets and alleys, figures flash by. They are all purebred Chinese garden cats, light yellow, grey, black, white... with strong postures, squatting not far away. It raises its chin and looks at you arrogantly. When you run over and want to touch it, it flicks its tail and runs away lightly.

There are also kittens, a small, fluffy ball, timidly approaching you, looking up at the food in your hand and meowing, which makes your heart melt.

Go to Xiuli on the fourth day. This is a filming base. It's beautiful, not many tourists, very quiet. There is a stage inside, which occupies an empty space. The scenery on the stage has been gathering dust for a long time. In the middle, there is a plaque inscribed with the title "Everyone is celebrating", with the general hanging on the left and the prime minister hanging on the right.

After passing a long corridor, I smelled the fragrance of osmanthus. There is an osmanthus tree at the exit of the corridor, full of osmanthus flowers. There are also osmanthus trees in the scenic area. It is in season, and the fragrance of osmanthus is everywhere, filling people with its fragrance.

The boats on the lakeside, with lanterns hanging on them, were parked quietly in the reflection of the green tiles and white walls on the lake.

When a person walks slowly through those small alleys, I feel that it is really not easy. The old houses, after years of wind and rain, are dilapidated and dilapidated. The time has accumulated, the walls are peeling off, and the color has faded, just like running water. The impact took away the memory and left traces.

Although the ancestors who live here guard it year after year, tourists come and go, the residents get old, sick and die, and the buildings will age and collapse. What else is eternal?

nothing forever
