Walking into the museum, I saw many lifelike models, lifelike objects, precious historical photos and detailed information introduction. Suddenly, I deeply felt the hard course of people building the Red Flag Canal at that time-the origin of the Red Flag Canal was like this: Linzhou used to be called Linxian County, and there was no water in Linxian County at that time. Everyone had to fetch water from the river more than ten kilometers away from the village. In order to change the situation that there is no water to drink, they plan to dig a canal to draw water. Through the unremitting efforts of people at that time, the problem of local water shortage was finally solved, ending the tragic history of Linzhou's ten-year drought and water being as expensive as oil.

In the memorial hall, standing next to the sand table model of the whole scenic spot of Hongqi Canal, I feel that "she" is like a jade belt, meandering among the cliffs of Taihang Mountain, which is an unforgettable historical witness before our eyes. "The bare hills are bare, the water is as expensive as oil, the giants are forced to rent debts, and the poor are worried day and night."

The story behind the Hongqi Canal: Linzhou Mountain is rich in water, thin in soil and thick in stone, with open caissons and no springs. Whenever there is drought, residents wait for water, and some people go more than ten kilometers away to get water. The old, the weak, the women and children were carrying Weng pots and carrying water all the way, and people and animals were exhausted. According to the historical records of Linxian County, the years of water shortage due to drought are very long.

Leave people with disaster and poverty. People in Linxian County, old China, faced with dry drinking water, how much pressure did they have to survive? 1960 In February, shortly after the founding of New China, people in Linxian County, under the leadership of Yang Gui, secretary of the county party committee, braved hardships and fatigue, and Leng Xia was hot in winter, working from morning till night every day. They did not bow to the harsh living environment, nor did they complain about their own environment. For several years, they lived in tents on cliffs and caves. They eat pickles, steamed bread and steamed bread for three meals a day. They used hammers, steel drills and hands to dig holes, bridge, cut mountains and split roads on every mountain, thus overcoming all kinds of difficulties. By 1969, with sweat and blood, they successfully built a red flag canal with a length of 1500 km on the cliffs of Taihang Mountain, which is known as the "China Water Great Wall". We love Premier Zhou and proudly tell our international friends: "There are two great miracles in New China, one is the Nanjing Yangtze River Bridge and the other is the Hongqi Canal in Linxian County".

Walking out of the memorial hall, we came to Fenshuiyuan archway, which is the first scenic spot of Hongqi Canal and the place where the main canal of Hongqi Canal is divided into one main canal and two main canals.

The archway is an antique mountain gate archway, and the main entrance and side doors are capped with brown glazed tiles, which are beautiful in shape and exquisite in structure. What impressed me the most was Chairman Mao's poem couplet on both sides of the door, "Nothing is difficult in the world, if you put your mind to it".

After Chuangye Cave, Tuanjie Cave, Hukou Cliff and Yixiantian, we came to Youth Cave, the most famous scenic spot in Hongqi Canal. This hole is the throat project of the whole Hongqi Canal. The stone head on the mountain is as hard as steel. If you hammer it down, you can only leave a spot. At the most difficult time of the project, more than 300 young men and women formed a commando team, with the spirit of "foolish men move mountains"

After a year and five months of hard work, the cave was finally opened. To commemorate the hard work of young people, this cave was named "Youth Cave". There is a picture of party flag hanging next to the word Youth Cave.

On the cliff next to it is the "Mountain Monument" inscribed by Li Xiannian.

After the tour of Hongqi Canal Scenic Area, there are endless feelings in my heart. She inspired me and educated me.
