According to preliminary statistics, the severe convective weather has caused more than 10,000 people to be affected in * * * 1 county and city 1.7 million, and 25 people were killed in Guangdong, Fujian, Hunan, Guangxi and other provinces (regions), many people were missing and injured, and 224,000 people needed emergency life assistance such as emergency relocation and resettlement. At the same time, the disaster also caused 2,600 houses to collapse and 249,000 houses to be damaged to varying degrees, resulting in a direct economic loss of 65.438+33 billion yuan.

Dongguan, Guangdong Province and Nanping, Fujian Province were seriously affected by the wind and hail disaster caused by this strong convective weather. Among them, Dongguan, Guangdong Province was affected by tornado and hail weather, causing 9 deaths and 272 injuries. In Nanping, Fujian, extreme weather caused the ferry to capsize, 1 1 died and four people were missing.

Strong convective weather swept across many places in southern China, and the rain intensified tonight.

The near-strong convective weather is fierce and sweeps across many places in South China. According to the forecast of the Central Meteorological Observatory, from 25th to 27th, due to the frequent influence of high-altitude trough and weak cold air, the weather in the southern region is still unstable, prone to strong convective weather such as thunderstorms, strong winds, heavy precipitation and hail. Among them, from today's night to tomorrow's day, some areas in eastern Chongqing and northwestern Hunan will have strong convective weather such as short-term thunderstorms and hail.

It is expected that there will be heavy rains in parts of eastern Guizhou, southern Hunan, southwestern Jiangxi, northwestern Guangxi and northwestern Guangdong from the night of the 25th, and there will be strong convective weather such as thunderstorms or hail in these areas.

From 25th to 26th, due to the influence of cold air, the temperature in the northwest and the east of southwest will drop by 4 ~ 6℃, accompanied by northerly winds of 4 ~ 6, and there will be sand blowing or dusty weather in parts of southern Xinjiang basin, western Gansu and western Inner Mongolia.

From the night of 26th, there were moderate to heavy snow or sleet and local snowstorms in parts of northeastern Inner Mongolia, central and eastern Heilongjiang and eastern Jilin.
