The weather forecast cannot be updated automatically, nor can it be updated manually for a long time.

This may be caused by the following reasons:

1. Huawei's own weather forecast obtains data from the third-party service provider ACCUWeather, which may be due to the abnormality of the Accu server, resulting in the untimely weather update.

2. If the weather in the current location can't be updated automatically, it may be that the positioning switch is turned off, so that the application can't get the location information, and thus can't get the local weather information.

We suggest you try the following methods:

1, open the location service: EMUI9.0 version 9.0 enters the settings >; Security and Privacy > Location Services, turn on the switch to access my location information.

2. Other versions confirm whether the location service is turned on, and choose to use GPS, WLAN and mobile network.

3. Try to switch network connection: If the currently connected WLAN cannot be updated, try to switch to 4G traffic data to refresh; If the 4G traffic data cannot be refreshed, try to switch to WLAN.

4、EMUI4。 X & 5.x: Settings > Application Management > Weather > Storage, delete data, empty cache, re-enter weather, and add cities.

5.EMUI8。 X: settings > applications and notifications > application management > weather > storage, deleting data and emptying cache, re-entering weather and adding cities.

6.EMUI9.0: settings > application > application management > weather > storage, delete data, empty cache, re-enter weather and add cities.
