How to manage the rain and snow weather of overwintering cucumber?

The management techniques of cucumber in greenhouse mainly focus on strengthening cold protection and heat preservation and enhancing light when it encounters severe weather such as continuous rain and snow at seedling stage. (1) Cold protection and heat preservation Before the arrival of cold current, rain and snow, the shed should be tightly closed at night and covered with integral plastic film. If the back wall and gable of the shed are not as thick as they should be, grass protection and film can be added to the wall to strengthen heat preservation.

(2) Increase the illumination. As long as it doesn't rain or snow, even if it snows lightly during the day, we should stick to pulling weeds, use weak scattered light to increase the temperature in the shed and supplement the illumination, so that cucumber plants can carry out photosynthesis. Avoid cucumber plants being in a dark state for a long time, resulting in a serious imbalance in the growth of roots, stems and leaves.
