The origin of Wudang Mountain's name?
Fu looked up at astronomy, looked down at geography, approached all celestial bodies, took everything from afar and observed it for a long time. He realized the fuzzy rules behind the phenomenon of personnel in heaven and earth, and found that Tai Chi has a constant place in endless changes-Wudang Mountain and Taihe Mountain. Wudang Mountain is located in Wulongsi Mountain, 20 kilometers southwest of Xiangyang, Hubei Province. Taihe Mountain is located 40 kilometers west of Shiyan City, Hubei Province. It is the concentrated expression of China's Yi-ology. Wudang and Taihe are the cause and effect of each other, representing the two hangings of Gankun, and there are mountains at the end and tail, representing the other six hangings. In the geocentric era, the ancients believed that Wudang Mountain and Taihe Mountain were the centers of heaven and earth, and the changes of Yin and Yang were in the center. Therefore, emperors of all dynasties used this place as their own back garden for construction. From Fu's discovery of Tai Chi, we can see that Wudang Mountain was discovered first, and then Taihe Mountain was discovered, because the word Taihe can be interpreted as the same or in line with the meaning, and these two mountains conform to the Tai Chi map. Later, after explaining its meaning, people built the East Shinto Road in Wudang Mountain, the West Shinto Road in Taihe Mountain, and the South Shinto Road and the North Shinto Road respectively. This is the real origin of Wudang Mountain.
Since the Zhou Dynasty, many dignitaries have gone to Wudang Mountain and Taihe Mountain to practice, such as Yin, a doctor, and Damon, a general of Emperor Wu of the Han Dynasty. After the birth of Taoism at the end of the Eastern Han Dynasty, Wudang Mountain and Taihe Mountain became important places for Taoist activities in the Central Plains. Si Mahui and his disciples Zhuge Liang, Pang Tong and Xu Shu in the Three Kingdoms.
