Dongguan high temperature allowance standard: 1. From June to 10, the employer will pay monthly high temperature allowance. The standard of high temperature allowance this year is per person per month 150 yuan. If the high temperature allowance needs to be converted according to the regulations, 6.9 yuan will be paid per person per day. 2. The employer shall also provide free cool drinks that meet the food safety standards to the workers engaged in outdoor operations and indoor high-temperature operations. However, the cold drinks provided cannot offset the high temperature allowance. 3. If the employer refuses to pay the high temperature allowance, the employee may complain to the competent department of human resources and social security at or above the county level where the employee is located. The competent department of human resources and social security at or above the county level shall order the employer to reissue it within a time limit.

Article 9 of the Measures for Labor Protection in Hot Weather in Guangdong Province: During the following hot weather periods, the employer shall reasonably arrange working hours, reduce labor intensity, and take effective measures to ensure the health and life safety of workers: (1) When the daily maximum temperature reaches above 39℃, it shall stop outdoor work on that day; (2) When the daily maximum temperature reaches above 37℃ and below 39℃ (excluding 39℃), the outdoor working hours shall not exceed 6 hours, and outdoor work shall be suspended from 12 to 16; (3) If the daily maximum temperature reaches above 35℃ and below 37℃ (excluding 37℃), the employer shall take a rest in shifts, shorten the continuous operation time, and shall not arrange outdoor workers to work overtime.
