The Tianhou Palace, also known as Mazu Tempel, is enshrined by Maureen, the goddess of the sea. The incense here is particularly strong, and fishermen and passenger ships going out to sea will come to worship. As the largest Mazu Tempel in Southeast Asia, it combines the style of Beijing Forbidden City with the imposing manner of Nanjing Sun Yat-sen Mausoleum, which is worth visiting.

Nansha Tianhou Palace, bordering Humen and Lingdingyang in the south, is mainly composed of Tianhou Palace Square and palace buildings.

In the center of Tianhou Palace Square stands a statue of Tianhou Stone, which is as high as 14.5 meters. It is said to be composed of 365 pieces of carefully carved granite, which symbolizes the blessing of Tianhou for 365 days a year and is also a must-see place for tourists to take photos.

The palace complex is behind Tianhou Palace Square, which is in the architectural style of Qing Dynasty and built on the mountain.

First of all, you can see the main entrance archway, cross the archway and reach the mountain gate, which is the main entrance of Tianhou Palace. There are two statues of "clairvoyant eyes" and "clairaudient ears" in the room. Continue to climb the stairs, there are bell towers and drum towers on both sides of the mountain gate, and the bells and drums in the bell and drum towers will ring on time. Above the mountain gate is the main hall dedicated to "dancing between the sea and the sky", with four dragon kings standing on both sides. The Hall of Ursa Major above is the center of the whole Tianhou Palace. There is a woodcarving shrine dedicated to the 3.8-meter-high statue of Tianhou Palace, carved with fragrant catalpa and gilded. The bedroom is located in the main hall, and a loom is specially placed in this bedroom, because it is said that Tianhou Niangniang rescued her father from the sea during a knitting trip when she was 15 years old. In addition, there are beds, dressing tables and mirrors in the bedroom.

The highest point of the whole building complex is Nanling Tower, which is located on the last side. This tower is 45 meters high, and it is a building similar to a pavilion. Nanling Tower overlooks the entire Nansha Tianhou Palace, but unfortunately it is impossible to climb the tower at present.
