Why is the climate in winter drier than that in summer?

Because the temperature is low in winter, there is less water vapor evaporated into the air, so it is dry.

In summer, the temperature is high, and there is a lot of water vapor evaporated into the air, so it is humid.

This has nothing to do with rainfall. Sometimes it rains a lot in winter, but it is never so humid in summer.
