Opening hours of Wuhu Catholic Church

From 6: 30 am to 5: 00 pm from Monday to Saturday, it is recommended to go to Wuhu Catholic Church after 8:30 am. It is located in Jinghu District, Wuhu City, Anhui Province. It is one of the best-preserved Catholic churches in Anhui province and one of the only two remaining Catholic churches listed in the national treasure list in Anhui province. The church is located at the southern foot of Mount Hull (the western foot of Yugeng Mountain), No.90 Changjiang Middle Road, Jinghu District, Wuhu City. It was built in the 13th year of Guangxu reign (1887). After the Sino-British Yantai Treaty made Wuhu a trading port, King, a French Jesuit missionary, came here to preach. In the seventeenth year of Guangxu (189 1), the religious case in Wuhu shocked China and foreign countries, and the church was burned by the masses. After being threatened by force, the Qing government paid1222,000 silver for reconstruction. Finally, a new church was built in the 21st year of Guangxu (1).
