Does the average person's urine volume increase or decrease when the weather is cold?

People's urine volume is generally much colder. When the weather is hot, people sweat more and lose more water in their bodies. The ability of renal tubules to reabsorb water and sodium ions is enhanced, so as to maintain the balance of water and salt in the body and not to let too much water be discharged from urine.

The daily urine output of normal people is about 1000-2000 ml, with an average of about 1500 ml. Because normal people need to excrete about 35-50g of metabolites and salts in the form of urine through the kidneys every day, and the water required to dissolve these solid substances is at least about 500ml, so everyone needs to excrete at least 500ml of urine every day. Therefore, it is medically stipulated that when a person's urine volume exceeds 2500 ml in a whole day (24 hours), it belongs to polyuria; When the daily urine volume is less than 500 ml, it belongs to oliguria; When the daily urine volume is less than 100 ml, it belongs to anuria.
