Shanxi has started a three-level emergency response to heavy rain.

At 1: 5 on August 5th, Shanxi Meteorological Bureau upgraded the emergency response of rainstorm to level 3. At the same time, the emergency headquarters Office of Major Meteorological Disasters launched a four-level emergency response to major meteorological disasters (rainstorms).

Shanxi Meteorological Bureau requires all relevant units and relevant municipal meteorological bureaus to immediately enter an emergency state, closely monitor weather changes, strengthen information communication and work linkage with relevant units such as emergency, land and housing construction, jointly issue early warning information, and actively respond to possible disaster impacts at any time.
